Baking and roasting result in grease, cooking odours and suspended matter which all soil the interior of the oven and leave behind ugly fatty marks. These deposits are difficult to remove and are also a breeding ground for bacteria. The Ökotherm oven catalytic converter developed by Küppersbusch converts the dirty, greasy air left behind during cooking into clean air. And automatically too, as soon as the hot air mode is put into operation. Unwelcome smells and greasy deposits don’t even get out of the oven. The clean air left behind in the oven serves a good purpose: it is moist, thus ensuring that roasts do not dry out. They remain very juicy and maintain their delicious aroma.
